While most people think that acupuncture is primarily for treating pain, clinical trials have shown it very effective in treating anxiety and depression. Not only are these conditions debilitating, they’re prevalent in the modern world. Research suggests that one out of every four people will experience a mental health problem in the next year. Studies have shown acupuncture effective in treating both anxiety and depression. One University of Arizona study found that after acupuncture treatments, 64% of women in the study were in full remission from their depression.  Another German study found acupuncture remarkable for treating anxiety.
